Brody's Christmas Party

Brody's class at Parents' Day Out had their annual Christmas Party with coffee and donuts for the parents, sweet treats for the kiddos, and a book exchange for them also. While things were being all set up each parent helped their child make reindeer food. If you do not know what this is, it is a baggy of plain oatmeal with lots of green and red glitter in it. You sprinkle it on your lawn on Christmas Eve. The reindeer see the glitter so they know to stop at your house, and while they wait on Santa, they eat the oatmeal. So we did that and I have to admit that Brody left lots of reindeer food on the floor of his classroom too. He may go back to school in January and have gifts there too from Santa.

Here are some cute pictures from the day.

Brody poured his reindeer food all over the table first

There can NEVER be too much glitter. Wouldn't want
Santa to miss the house!

One of Brody's best buds...CJ with mommy Becky

Carter and Jill - another of Brody's best buddies

Brody, CJ, and Addy - his favorite little girl ever (the older one at the table)

Brody's gift to mommy and daddy - his footprint is the Christmas Tree and his fingerprints are the ornaments. This is awesome  because the paint is glazed underneath so we could use it...and it's different than Chloe's last year. Her's was blue with a hand print that made Santa's face and beard.

Loved Brody's gift. It's too cute! You look great! I mean really great! I hope that means you are actually feeling better and are really able to enjoy the holidays with your family. It's been a constant prayer of mine for a bit now. Love and miss you!
